ABOUT 

Varvara Revnyuk is an international singing actress who began her career as a jazz musician, won multiple music awards, and then crossed the ocean for her love of Broadway. She appeared in the official Russian production of The Sound of Music by Stage Entertainment and has performed in many other theatrical works in Russia and the United States.


Varvara received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in 2021. After graduation, she joined the Musical Theatre program at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in New York. 

Recently, she performed the role of Lucy Brown in The Threepenny Opera at the GITIS Theatre, Mercedes in The Count of Monte Cristo, and the Spirit in The Marriage of Figaro at the Moscow State Pushkin Theatre. In 2022 she played Alexis in La La Land at the American Theater in Moscow. In addition, Varvara has worked as a voice actress, lending her voice to films such as Dear Evan Hansen (Universal, role of Zoe) and Fear Street 1994 (Netflix, role of Kate).


As a jazz vocalist and bandleader, Varvara has been performing with her own jazz band for over four years. She is a winner of multiple international vocal competitions, including the “All Colors of Jazz” award by Radio Jazz 89.1 FM, and a Rising Star nomination. She has appeared on Russian television in programs such as Shabolovka—37 Club and All Colors of Jazz, presenting jazz, chanson, and Broadway repertoire with elegance and style. Her concert programs combine French pop legends (Edith Piaf, Zaz, Yves Montand) with Broadway classics (Rodgers & Hammerstein, Gershwin, and others) and original jazz compositions.

She has collaborated with major collectives and orchestras, including the Presidential Orchestra of the Russian Federation and the Big Jazz Orchestra, and has performed on some of the best stages in Moscow and New York, including ESSE Jazz Club, Alexey Kozlov Jazz Club, as well as club concerts, concert halls, and rooftop sessions. 

Varvara is highly proficient in piano, passionate about learning languages such as French, and possesses an extensive vocal range, having been trained as a classical coloratura soprano in childhood before expanding into jazz and musical theatre.
